Urban Interactive

A new way to interact, explore, and learn… while competing for prizes.

Free yourself from the bonds of a tour guide. Discover the secrets of a
city at your own pace. Interact with locals. Find treasure.

Blending mobile technology, improvisational actors, and theatric props,
Urban Interactive creates immersive storytelling experiences that
suffuses the player’s real surroundings with a “heightened reality” of
intrigue, mystery, and adventure.  Participants are enveloped inside of
a secret agent or detective thriller while deciphering puzzles and
performing stunts that ultimately lead them to solve a mystery.

About

Cityscape LocativeLab.org is Ronald Lenz's research website on locative & mobile media. This is mostly an archive of blogposts I find inspiring and interesting and an overview of my work. I'm a strategist, technologist and researcher in the field of Location-Based Mobile Services and work at Waag Society, a medialab in Amsterdam, The Netherlands where I head the Locative Media research program and at 7scenes, a platform for GPS games and tours as creative director.
